Does astigmatism = BCT glasses? Even though min my case an eye doctor said my astigmatism isn't fixable with g?

I have had 3 eye doctors tell me my astigmatism in my right eye isn't fixable by glasses However my Left eye is 20-20? Does this mean I will have to wear those stupid BC glasses in BCT or can I get by with is? Why would they make me wear them if they

Well, I am not an optometrist, so I do not know what some of the technical terms mean, but looking at AR 40-501, Standards of Medical Fitness, it seems that an astigmatism is disqualifying. The exact regulation is as follows:

The handle or strap had to be the right length and wide enough to stay on my shoulder without always falling off. It needed to look like a purse, not a fabric or leather pillow case when I put it down. I didn't want to rummage through all my stuff either like a street person who looks for food through a garbage can. Compartments for me would be best.....knowing where to go for what. With the husband and Daniel in tow, we hit JC Penney's and went upstairs to the purse department. Now...I haven't been purse shopping in years, so what a shock to see what they had. Dan brings me a shiny bag, which I had to reject. (I think he was shopping for a girlfriend) The husband brings me compartment bags, but they are all flaps for the main compartment. It took awhile, but after going through easily a 200 bags or more, we found one that was perfect! And then I tested the zipper and it was broken! AArrrgh! Back to the drawing board! Knowing what I wanted, we quickly found the perfect replacement!...
